Fractal paintings – search the endless shape similarity
It looks always good to have a painting on your home. But where and what type? In today’s post I will present a new type of painting – created with computers by designers but based on mathematical equations with symmetry and replicated by a color printer. You can frame this for living room or bed room … or any other space on a wall that is free and visible.
Fractals are infinitely complicated abstract objects used to describe and simulate naturally occurring objects. Fractals commonly exhibit similar patterns at increasingly small scales, also known as expanding symmetry or evolving symmetry. If this replication is exactly the same at every scale, as in the Menger sponge, it is called a self-similar pattern. Fractals can also be nearly the same at different levels, as illustrated here in small magnifications of the Mandelbrot set.
There is some disagreement amongst authorities on how the concept of a fractal should be formally defined. Benoitt Mandelbrot mathematician – known creator and promoter that also named them “fractals” summarized them as “beautiful, damn hard, increasingly useful. That’s fractals” and “A fractal is a shape made of parts similar to the whole in some way.”
Basically it’s symmetry what make us to be drawn by this shapes-> the fact that it’s different every time you zoom it and it’s composed of the same shape it’s “WOWWW”. Of course the concept was immediately used for art and not only also encryption techniques and so on.

Embedded with other objects or not, with the colors that match your interior … the result will be a panting that catches the eyes of the viewer not only once … every time checking for a new details for a new replicating shapes. I am a supporter for the new digital art with fractals -> and realize that a digital picture like this printed on smooth surface or canvas will be a masterpiece. And the perfection inside created absolutely mathematical with today’s impressive colors from printers much closer to the specter of the colors seen by human eye in nature will definitely turn it in to an eye-catcher.
